Alumni and friends are invited to an hors d’oeuvres reception and private showing of Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of Pharaohs exhibition at The Field Museum in Chicago from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, July 20.

For those who are interested in shopping in downtown Chicago, a chartered bus will leave from Morton and from the Illinois State campus in the morning and will drop participants off at the downtown Macy’s store (former Marshall Field’s store) and at Water Tower Place. The bus will then return to pick up participants and transport them to the Field Museum in time for the exhibition.

The exhibition will be open exclusively for Illinois State guests until 6:30 p.m. President Al Bowman will make a brief presentation after the viewing. The cost for attending the exhibition is $60. There will be an additional fee for the chartered bus. Call the Chicago office at (312) 251-3500 or toll free at (866) 366-4478 to make your reservation.
