The Class of 1981 will celebrate their 25th reunion, the Class of 1966 their 40th reunion, and Night Operations and Preview Guides will host reunions for their alumni during Homecoming 2006 week.

  • The Class of 1981 can join their classmates for a round of golf on Friday, Oct. 13, or Saturday, Oct. 14, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the University Golf Course.  To book in advance, call (309) 438-8065 and identify yourself as a member of the Class of 1981.  Reunion rates are $23 per player for 18 holes and $19 per player for 9 holes. Greens fee, cart, and sack lunch are provided.   A reunion social hour will start at 5 p.m. in the Bone Student Center (BSC) Founders Suite.  Tickets are $5.50 with a cash bar and must be purchased in advance.
  • The Class of 1966 can also play golf and will have a reunion social hour and dinner at The Caboose starting at 6 p.m. Register early as seating is limited.
  • Preview Guide alumni will have a social hour on Friday, Oct. 13, at 5 p.m. at The Chateau and a banquet on Saturday, Oct. 14, at 6 p.m. in the BSC Old Main Room.  The banquet will include a “Preview through the Decades” presentation.
  • Night Operations alumni will have a networking event on Saturday, Oct. 14, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the West Campus Shawnee Room, a mix and mingle event in the BSC Circus Room at 6 p.m. and a 7 p.m. banquet with guest speaker Chika Nnamani, assistant vice president of Student Affairs and founder of Night Operations.  Sunday, Oct. 15, will include a farewell breakfast.  To register for any of the Night Operations events, or to buy tickets, click on Night Operations.
