Young Redbird fans will have the opportunity to play a more active role in game-day events in the 2007-08 athletic season with the recent forming of the Reggie’s Kids Club.  The club, which was created in conjunction with the NCAA, is open for enrollment for kids 12 years old and younger.  The membership period begins July 1 and runs through June 30, 2008.

For an annual fee of just $30, Reggie’s Kids Club members will receive free admission to all Illinois State women’s basketball games and volleyball matches, along with a complimentary ticket to select football, men’s basketball, baseball and softball games.  Members will also receive an official Reggie’s Kids Club T-shirt, a membership card, an annual birthday card from Reggie and discounts and coupons from participating vendors at athletic events.  Special Kids Club-only events will also be held, and members will be eligible for select giveaways and raffle drawings. To register, click on Reggie’s Kids Club.

“The Reggie’s Kids Club is an exciting venture that has been established for the young Redbird Fans,” said Illinois State Director of Marketing Brad Ledford. “The special benefits and inside look at Redbird Athletics are just a small part of being a Reggie’s Kids Club member. We’re excited about the formation of the Reggie’s Kids Club, but we are most enthused about starting a club that will reward young fans who bring so much energy to our games, matches and events.”

Membership items will be distributed at the Redbird Fan Fair on August 18, and can be picked up at the Redbird Ticket Office during normal business hours.

To join, potential members need to download and print the registration form, and either mail, fax or drop off the form to the ticket office, located adjacent to the north entrance of Redbird Arena.

For more information, call the ticket office at (309) 438-8000, or e-mail ISU marketing assistant Heather Geeser.
