Special reunions that have already been planned for this year’s Homecoming celebration on Oct. 13-14 include Alumni Band, Alpha Sigma Omega, Greek Alumni Network and Connect, Diversity Advocacy, 1970s Student Leaders and a Walker and Dunn-Barton Memory Brunch.
Alumni Band: All past marching band participants are invited to the Homecoming reunion. In honor of the University’s Sesquicentennial, the Illinois State Alumni Band hopes to have 150 band alumni return for this year’s Homecoming parade. Register now at Alumni Band.

Greek Alumni Network and Connect: Greek-affiliated organizations will have the opportunity to reunite and expand their network during a social hour following the Homecoming football game on Saturday, Oct. 13. Diversity Advocacy: On Saturday, Oct.13, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Redbird Tent Zone, join Joint Diversity Advocacy, a unit of the Dean of Students Office, and friends for the annual Diversity Tailgate to celebrate Illinois State’s 150th anniversary and the 20th anniversary for Diversity Advocacy. Visit with current students, faculty, staff, friends and family and reconnect with alumni from the Black Colleagues Association, Association of Black Academic Employees, Interdenominational Youth Choir, National Pan-Hellenic Council, Black Student Union, Association of Latin American Students and many other multicultural Greek lettered and diverse student organizations. Walker and Dunn-Barton Memory Brunch: Former residents of Walker Hall and Dunn-Barton Hall are invited back to campus to visit and share memories of central campus at the Walker and Dunn-Barton Alumni Reception and Memory Brunch at 7 p.m. at Chatters in Walker Hall on Friday, Oct. 12. Current and former staff members are also invited to a Memory Brunch on Saturday, Oct. 13, at 10 a.m. in Chatter’s dining hall.
