(August 24, 2007) The College of Education was recently notified of a marvelous anonymous $25,000 estate gift from an alumna, who received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education in 1950 and her master’s degree in educational administration and foundations in 1954. A former regional superintendent for the Illinois State Board of Education, this person’s entire career was spent in the field of education. With much gratitude, this gift has been designated to financially support two major initiatives of the College: Urban Education and International Education.
