Ted Nichelson, M.M. ’96, graduated from Illinois State’s Laboratory Schools before completing his graduate degree in musicology. He has built a career as a freelance harpist in California, where he now resides. More than an exceptional musician, Nichelson also writes. He is the primary author of the book Love to Love You Bradys: The Bizarre Story of the Brady Bunch Variety Show.

Show star Susan Olsen, who played Cindy Brady on the show, partnered with Nichelson to take a look back at the show some call the most disastrous offering in television history. Released this fall, the book features never-before-published photos and interviews with the cast, crew, and production staff. Nichelson will be speaking at Milner Library followed by a book signing on October 13, at 2 p.m. WGLT on-air host Laura Kennedy ’86 will moderate the presentation. Olsen will participate in the presentation by phone.
