The Miller Park Zoo and the Children’s Discovery Museum will be hosting special events for faculty, staff, alumni, students, and community members the weekend prior to the start of the Homecoming celebration.
Reggie Day at the Children’s Discovery Museum
10 a.m.–1 p.m. Saturday, October 9
101 E. Beaufort Street, Normal
This event will feature activities for kids, Illinois State Homecoming giveaways, and opportunities for your children to interact with Reggie Redbird. You won’t want to miss this great day of family fun! Cost is $6 per person ages 2 and over. Children under the age of 2 are free.
Reggie Day at Miller Park Zoo

Join Reggie Redbird for an afternoon of fun at the zoo. Activities will include watching a bald eagle feeding, hearing the vocal birds of Australia, feeding the budgies, and interacting with Reggie. Make sure to download a Redbird Walk Card at IllinoisStateHomecoming.com to receive a discounted entry of $3 per person for this event.
