Cellist Anthony Arnone will perform a free concert on Tuesday, Nov. 2, at 7:30 p.m. in Illinois State University’s Kemp Recital Hall. The event is sponsored by Illinois State’s School of Music.

Arnone, an associate professor of cello at The University of Iowa School of Music, is a soloist, chamber musician, conductor and teacher throughout the country and around the world. During his Illinois State concert he will perform three Caprices by Alfedo Piatti, Sonata for Solo Cello by György Ligeti, six Preludes by Johann Sebastian Bach, Julie-O by Turtle Island String Quartet cellist Mark Summer, and several of his own compositions.
