The Center for Emerging Entrepreneurs will present the free seminar “Getting to Know… Specs Around Town and Churchill’s Formal Wear/ Crazy about Scrubs” on Thursday, Nov. 18, at 6:30 p.m. in the Central Illinois Regional Airport terminal’s second floor conference room A/B. The free community seminar for emerging entrepreneurs will feature established business owners talking about the challenges and lessons of starting a business.

Julie Kubsch, owner of Specs Around Town in Bloomington and Jim Carroll, owner of Churchill’s Formal Wear and Crazy about Scrubs in Bloomington will be panelists. The Center for Emerging Entrepreneurs, formerly the ISU/EDC Business Incubator, seeks to foster economic development by addressing the educational and business development needs of emerging entrepreneurs. Services include coaching, direct assistance, individualized consultation, mentoring and educational service. The Center for Emerging Entrepreneurs is a joint initiative of Illinois State University and the Economic Development Council of the Bloomington- Normal Area.
