Illinois State University plans to test its emergency notification system, ISU Emergency Alert, on Thursday, Oct. 27, at 1:55 p.m.

The message will be received via the communication mode that each individual checked while registering for ISU Emergency Alert, e.g. cell phone (text/voice) or landline phone. It will also be received by all persons with an Illinois State e-mail address even if they did not register for ISU Emergency Alert.

The ISU Emergency Alert notification system is a critical component of the campus Emergency Management Plan. Questions regarding the test can be e-mailed to ehsadm@ilstu.edu To learn more about the Emergency Alert system, visit www.ilstu.edu/home/security
