Illinois State University’s Board of Trustees today approved naming the men’s basketball locker room for the Franke family and the women’s volleyball locker room for Jami Kehl Head.
The Franke Family Men’s Basketball Locker Room will be named for two Illinois State alumni who have supported the University by contributing to the Redbird Arena locker room renovation project.
Alumnus Darrell ’64 and Karen Kehl are long-time supporters of Illinois State and its intercollegiate athletics program, and specifically donated money for the Redbird Arena locker room renovation project. The Jami Kehl Head Volleyball Locker is named for their daughter, Jami Head, who was a volleyball player.
