Illinois State University’s Belle Voix and Women’s Glee Club will perform in concert on Sunday, Nov. 14, at 7 p.m. in the University’s Center for the Performing Arts Concert Hall. Tickets for the performance are $8 for general admission, $7 for faculty and staff, and $6 for students and seniors.

Belle Voix (women’s chamber choir) will perform a variety of classical and modern vocal works including Niccola Porpora’s Magnificat, Ave Maria by Gustav Holst, Eve’s Confession by Paul Carey, and the traditional spiritual Ain’t No Grave Can Hold My Body Down.

The Women’s Glee Club program will include Irving Berlin’s What’ll I Do?, Gabriel Fauré’s Messe Basse, and the traditional South African folk song Daar Kom Die Alabama.

The choirs will also combine to present David Willcocks’ Psalm 150, Umberto Giordano’s “O Pastorelle, Addio” and the opening chorus from The Bartered Bride by Bedřich Smetana.
