November magazine delivers

The November alumni magazine is reaching mailboxes now. In this issue you will read about Sun-Times owner James Tyree ’78, M.B.A. ’80; the special care of critically ill infants provided by nursing graduate Janessa (Stimpert) Jenkins ’06; Distinguished Professor Radheshyam Jayaswal’s fight against bacteria resistant to antibiotics; and Illinois State donors who support university students and projects.

You’ll find Illinois State online at Go there today and check out the Web extras—video links and stories that show and tell even more about the interesting people and programs showcased in the November alumni magazine. You can also choose to read the magazine online only, opting out of receiving a printed copy.

When you finish reading, take a moment to provide your feedback. A survey is available at Tell us what you enjoy in the magazine, and what you would like to see covered in future issues. And don’t forget to share the link with others. There’s no easier way to Spread the Red!

I deeply appreciated your mention of the passing of Molly Arnold, the Head of Admissions prior to her death. My only regret was that you used a photo of her during her later years in her fight against breast cancer. She was a beautiful and powerful woman with a joie de vie unmatched by anyone else I know. She was my sister and she followed my time at ISU (Class of '77). If you would accept a better quality photo, the family would gladly provide it. Regardless...thank you for honoring her.
