Tuyen Tonnu, assistant professor of piano in Illinois State University’s School of Music, will present a recital on Tuesday, March 1, at 8 p.m. in Kemp Recital Hall. Tickets are $8 for general admission, $7 for faculty and staff and $6 for students and seniors. The performance is part of the Charles W. Bolen Faculty Recital Series.

Tonnu will perform Arnold Schoenberg’s Sechs Kleine Klavierstücke Op. 19, Ludwig van Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 4 in Eb major, Op.7 and It is Dark and Damp on the Front,
Coma Dance and Osmo-Symbiotic for two pianos by Egyptian-born, American composer Halim El-Dabh. Tonnu will be joined by pianist and fellow School of Music faculty member Joshua Russell.
