On Friday, April 1, Illinois State University’s Milner Library will celebrate its sixth annual observance of the Edible Book Festival from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the main floor of the library.

The International Edible Book Festival, which began in 1999, is celebrated in more than 18 countries worldwide. Members of the University and the Bloomington-Normal communities are encouraged to put their creativity to the test and enter their own food “books.”

All “books” must be made of edible ingredients, with a list of those ingredients accompanying the entry. Entries should be dropped off at Milner Library between 8 and 11 a.m. on April 1. Judging begins at 11 a.m., and the winner will be announced at 1 p.m.
