Two Illinois State University BS/MPA graduates received Excel Awards for their outstanding performance on the 2010 CPA examination at the New CPA Banquet in Chicago in May.

Brittany Minkler ’10 received the Bronze medal for the third highest score in Illinois.

Tim Kenwick ’10 also received an Excel Award for his outstanding performance. Both are employed at PWC in Chicago

Excel Award winners are selected by the Illinois Board of Examiners.  To be considered candidates must pass all four sections of the exam in two consecutive testing windows, have a combined average of 90 percent, and be in the top 5% of all scores in Illinois.

Congratulations Brittany and Tim for your success and continuing to grow the outstanding reputation of the College of Business at Illinois State University.

Congratulations on this achievement. Being a son of a CPA I know what it takes to get awards and such. He was with the IRS for 30 years and now has his own practice. There is a big future for CPA’s especially nowadays.
