The campus community marked Illinois State’s 152nd commencement during ceremonies held on May 6 and 7.
The University continued the tradition of holding separate events for each college, with President Al Bowman speaking at every ceremony.
Approximately 3,400 graduates participated in commencement this year. The College of Arts and Sciences had the most cross the stage, with 1,164 undergraduates and 258 at the graduate level. The College of Applied Science and Technology recognized 798 undergraduates and 134 graduate students.
The College of Business had 608 baccalaureate degrees, 58 graduate, and 23 BS/MPA degrees. There were 452 undergraduates in the College of Education, as well as 131 graduate students.
The College of Fine Arts applauded 163 bachelor’s degree graduates and 47 at the graduate level. The totals for Mennonite College of Nursing were 103 undergraduate and 23 graduate students.
