ISU professors say steroids part of baseball ‘culture’

Major league baseball is a lot like any other business – “employees” take their cues from the culture created by leaders. And sometimes that means circumventing normal rules of fair play and ethics.   Learn more about the research of  Illinois State University College of Business faculty members Rick Ringer (MQM) and Joe Solberg (FIL) into the ethics, leadership and organizational culture of professional baseball as they join WJBC’s Jim Fitzpatrick to discuss their recently published study.  You can listen to the complete interview HERE.

The article written by Ringer (MQM) and Solberg (FIL) attempts to answer why professional players would use steroids by applying concepts from the area of organizational culture. You can read the published study HERE.
