Joining a Greek organization is an excellent way for students to become an active part of the campus community at Illinois State. Students gain valuable leadership skills, access to scholarships and other academic support networks, participate in community service, and develop strong relationships through the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood.

“This is so much more than a four year experience,” says Michelle Janisz, coordinator of Greek Affairs. “These friendships and experiences last a lifetime.”

Sorority recruitment is held August 31 to September 6 and fraternity recruitment runs from September 11 to September 16.

In order to join a fraternity or sorority, a candidate must be a full-time student at Illinois State University and in good standing.
