The story
James and Jayne Dennis, both Illinois State alumni, take a walk down memory lane of their time at Illinois State and how their fumbles and bungles sparked the beginning of their happy romance at ISU Homecoming.
The video
The video was shot on the campus of Illinois State University in Normal. A variety of locations were used on campus including McCormick Hall, Southside Dining Center, Schroeder Plaza, and Hancock Stadium tailgating lot.
The creative team:
The masterminds behind this piece were two current students, Emmanuel Wilhoite and Shelby Temple. These two Redbirds used their love of filmmaking and created a spirited and goofy promotional trailer for the Homecoming celebration. The video was scripted and conceptualized by Wilhoite and Temple and starred current Illinois State students: Mitch Conti (young James), Carly Oros (young Jayne), Colette Kuk (Susie); Illinois State alumni Deb Lesser (alumna Jayne) and Bob Tomaski (alumus James); and future Redbird Nick Tomaski (Charlie). Some talented student extras were also on hand for the filming: Adam Rahn, Shelby Temple, and Emmanuel Wilhoite.

Nice video. Just seems to say that you don’t have be athletic to get in the game. As long as you participate in some way then you are in the game. Life long relationships are made at Illinois State.
I’m not seeing the bullying…but it does kinda look like some of our ‘birds might be a little clutzy. LOL
