The Northern Lights will come to the Illinois State University Planetarium with the program Aurora, running weekends from Sept. 16 – Nov. 12. There will be no shows Oct. 28-29.

For centuries the mysterious glow of the Northern Lights has intrigued sky watchers. This visually stunning program will investigate the mysterious aurora borealis that that has fascinated and frightened the inhabitants of northern lands throughout the ages.

Admission to Planetarium shows is $4 for adults, $3 for children ages 5-12 and seniors, and $2 for children ages 3-4. Planetarium members are admitted free of charge.
The Planetarium is located under the white domed roof at the eastern end of Felmley Hall of Science at the intersection of School St. and College Ave. in Normal.
