The Illinois State University Student Foundation will host the 6th Annual Play for Olamide Bean Bag Tournament on Sunday, Sept. 18, at 1 p.m. on the North Quad near Schroeder Hall. All funds raised during the event will support the Olamide E. Adeyooye Memorial Scholarship.

Participation cost is $15 per team. The event will feature free food from local restaurants and a wide variety of prizes. Participation is open to the University community and the general public. The Olamide E. Adeyooye Memorial Scholarship Fund was established to honor the memory of an Illinois State senior who was abducted and killed in Oct. 2005. The scholarship was awarded for the first time in 2007, during the University’s Sesquicentennial celebration.
