Don’t miss out on an opportunity to watch one of the best soccer teams in the Midwest, as admission to all of Illinois State’s games at Adelaide Street Field will be free this season for Redbird students and fans.

Illinois State finished the 2011 season with an overall record of 13-6-0 and posted a 5-1-0 mark in Valley play on its way to winning the MVC regular-season and tournament titles. The Redbirds advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the second time in the last three seasons and earned their first win over an opponent ranked in the national Top 10, when they defeated then-No. 10 ranked Milwaukee, 3-1, October 23 at Adelaide Street Field.

Sophomore sensation Rachel Tejada returns as the reigning Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year and will lead the Redbirds as they host key non-conference opponents in Western Michigan, Green Bay and in-state rival Loyola, before welcoming in MVC rivals Northern Iowa, Indiana State and Missouri State in conference action to their home turf.
