The Career Center is offering Illinois State students a discounted rate to attend the OutforWork National Career Conference in Chicago, September 28-30.

The OutforWork Network (OFW), of which the Illinois State Career Center is a member, is a national organization serving to complement the efforts of colleges and universities to assist Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning (LGBTQ) students with career development and exploration.

As part of its membership with OutforWork, the Career Center is able to provide students with a discount rate to attend the organization’s annual national career conference in Chicago. The conference includes breakout sessions, workshops and keynote speakers to educate, prepare and empower students in the transition from academia into the workplace. In addition, the Career Center’s Cultural Career Network Program is providing free registration to the first 10 students who register.
