Illinois State students and alumni who are military veterans can get valuable information on how to transfer military or out-of-the-classroom experiences into transferable skills onto a resume or in an interview, thanks to the Career Center’s Veterans Resume and Interviewing Seminar on October 2 at noon at 110 Moulton Hall.

“Students will hear first-hand from a military veteran who will share what employers look for in candidates, and how to market their skills in a job search,” said Career Center Assistant Director Maureen Roach.

The session is open to veterans, and those from all majors.

Roach is a professional career adviser who serves the veteran population at Illinois State.
