The Illinois State University Planetarium will present Cosmic Catastrophes, premiering Friday, Sept. 7 and running weekends through Saturday, Nov. 10.

Show times are Friday evenings at 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 2 p.m.

In a sci-fi setting, Cosmic Catastrophes explores many potential threats to the Earth. These dangers range from the effects of global pollution to the threat posed by huge asteroids.

Admission to Cosmic Catastrophes is $4 for adults, $3 for children ages 5 to 12 and seniors, and $2 for children ages 3 to 4.
