Chicago Teacher Education Pipeline hires two to expand induction, mentoring work with recent grads
The Chicago Teacher Education Pipeline has announced the addition of Mary Elin Barnish and Maria Owens to its staff.
Barnish and Owens will provide training and support for the increasing number of Illinois State University educators working in Chicago Public Schools.

She began her career as a teacher in Chicago Public Schools and has served as an educator and administrator in a variety of Illinois districts. Owens developed induction and mentoring programs for the DuPage County Regional Office of Education and served as an induction specialist in the Northern Illinois region for the INTC.
