Illinois State University students, faculty, staff, and alumni are being offered a discount on tickets for the upcoming Rick Springfield concert.
Springfield’s performance, presented by 97.9 Bob FM Connoisseur Media and Braden Auditorium, will be at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 3, in Braden Auditorium at Illinois State University.
All those in the Illinois State community can get $5 off tickets priced $45 and above, starting Monday, October 22.
Ticket prices range from $25 to $90 and are available at Braden Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, on Ticketmaster.com or by phone at (800) 745-3000.Those purchasing tickets at the box office can mention the discount at the time of purchase and those ordering online can type the word “Reggie” when asked for the discount password.
Springfield, an Australian native, is best known for his No. 1 hit “Jessie’s Girl” in 1981 in both Australia and the U.S. The song earned him a Grammy Award for best male rock vocal performance.
