Illinois State University football fans tailgating before the game against North Dakota State on Saturday, November 17 can turn in their recyclable items in return for a 22-ounce reusable ISU Recycling mug.

The mugs will be given away – while supplies last – as part of the America Recycles Day Tailgating Event, which runs from 9 a.m. until the end of the football game, in the Ropp Agriculture Building parking lot just north of Hancock Stadium. Recyclable items generated at the tailgating event can be dropped off with University Recycling staff at the white Illinois State box truck.

Participants who sign a pledge to increase their recycling efforts will also receive an America Recycles Day Frisbee while supplies last. For more information, call 438-SAVE (7283) or email recycling@ilstu.edu.
