The College of Education offers the following opportunities to students, faculty, and staff:
The College of Education Research Dissemination Travel Award provides financial support for faculty, faculty associates, and administrative professionals to present at academic conferences and to share what they have learned with college colleagues. Applications are accepted through April 1, 2013. Recipients are eligible for up to $500 in reimbursement funds, and a total of $5,000 will be awarded.
The College of Education Student Research Travel Award provides financial support for undergraduate and graduate students in the School of Teaching and Learning, Department of Special Education, and Department of Educational Administration and Foundations to present at professional conferences and to share what they have learned with the college. Applications are accepted through April 1, 2013. Recipients are eligible for up to $750 for conference travel, and a total of $5,000 will be awarded.
The College of Education International Professional Development Award provides support for up to four faculty members to attend the 2013 Colloquium on Internationalizing Teacher Education to be held May 29–30, 2013. The colloquium is sponsored by the Association of International Educators (formerly the National Association of Foreign Study Advisers). Applications are accepted through February 1, 2013. Recipients will have their registration and travel expenses covered. A total of $2,500 will be awarded.
