Lois Hoobler Philpott ’40, who graduated from the Mennonite School of Nursing, was known to her patients and family for her compassionate care. Over the years, she demonstrated quiet leadership among her peers and shared her passion for the Mennonite College of Nursing with students and alumni.
Philpott and her family demonstrated her commitment to the students of Mennonite College of Nursing. A combination of family gifts, memorial gifts, and her planned gift established the Lois E. Hoobler Philpott Endowed Scholarship in Nursing. Her legacy continues giving future generations the opportunity to provide compassionate care.
