Jonathan Gauerke, a 2012 MSW alum, was hired in May 2012 by the Association for the Developmentally Disabled of Woodford County (ADDWC) in Eureka, Illinois, as vice president of operations and was just promoted to chief operating officer.

The ADDWC’s mission is to improve the quality of life for people with developmental disabilities and their families of Woodford County and the surrounding areas. They serve adults with developmental disabilities both residentially and vocationally and run two CILA group homes and a recycling center. ADDWC offers services in the areas of community living (residential services), vocational training skills, and life skills training.

“I appreciate the support of the ISU School of Social Work for helping me obtain my MSW in May of 2012 so I can now help individuals reach their potential in life,” Gauerke said.

ISU’s School of Social Work is extremely proud of Jonathan and wishes him success in the future.
