Join President Bowman at alumni golf scramble in Texas, April 17

Spend the day with President Al Bowman April 17 on a newly renovated golf course designed by D.A. Weibring ’75 at the Dallas/Fort Worth Redbird Alumni Golf Scramble.

Proceeds will support student scholarships in honor of Bowman for his leadership and service as he retires as president from the University.

Limited spaces are available and advanced registration is required.

When: Wednesday, April 17

  • 12:30 p.m.—Bag drop, check in, purchase mulligans, view silent auction items.
  • 1:30 p.m.—Shotgun start; games on the course for Illinois State prizes.
  • 7–8:30 p.m.Social and silent auction with remarks from President Bowman and representatives from the Athletics Department, Alumni Relations, and Dallas/Fort Worth Area Alumni Network.

Where: The Courses at Watters Creek, 7201 Chase Oaks Boulevard, Plano, Texas 75025

Cost: $100, includes 18 holes of golf (scramble format), cart, on-course games, and after-golf social with heavy hors d’oeuvres, Illinois State goodies, a cash bar, and a silent auction. The cost to attend only the social is $30.
