Campus Recreation is offering two great activities at nearby Evergreen Lake this spring through the Outdoor Adventure program.
The Sunset Paddle includes instruction for canoeing and kayaking, and time for exploring the coves and inlets of the lake under a spring sunset. A mandatory meeting to size equipment and review itinerary will be held 7–8 p.m. April 10 in 262 Student Fitness Center. Paddling on Evergreen Lake will be April 17 from 4:30–7:30 p.m. The cost is $15 for students/members and $25 for nonmembers. Register at the center by noon April 10.
The Spring Cookout, Play, and Paddle is a great way to enjoy fresh air and paddle time on the water as well as some fun games and food. A mandatory meeting to size equipment and review itinerary/menu will will be held 7–8 p.m. April 11 in 184 Student Fitness Center. The trip to Evergreen Lake will be 10 a.m.–3 p.m. April 14. The cost is $20 for students/members and $30 for nonmembers. Register at the center by noon April 11.
