The Division of Finance and Planning Comptroller’s Office has been expanding e-commerce options to minimize cash and check handling.

Departments currently accepting cash or checks for manuals, tickets, T-shirts, registration fees, etc., may now accept payment via credit card through a secure website. The payments automatically go into the department’s designated Datatel account. Contact Assistant Comptroller Robin Knapp at (309) 438-3854 or rlknapp@ilstu.edu for details.

All Illinois State University ID cards have a Redbird Dollars account which is accepted at the majority of the vending machines on campus, the University’s Subways and dining halls, Barnes & Noble and the Alamo II bookstores, and the restaurants in the Bone Student Center. Money may be added to an account through My.IllinoisState.edu.

For more information regarding deposits or gift deposits, visit the Redbird Card Office website.
