The Career Center’s Cultural Career Network Program (CCNP) prepares students for the workplace in areas of networking and career awareness. CCNP encourages students of diverse backgrounds to participate in a variety of events designed to connect them with employers, and to provide resources about available internship and career opportunities.

Thirty-one students connected with 10 employers at this spring’s Career Cultural Network Program event. Students learned about careers, interviewing, and networking.

The Career Center appreciates the support from student group co- sponsors: Alpha Psi Lambda, Black Student Union, and My Brotha’s Keeper.

CCNP events are open to all Illinois State University students, regardless of major or college classification. The program embraces all Career Center services and programming and works in conjunction with many university departments. Local and statewide employers play an important and effective role as they participate in and co-sponsor Cultural Career Network Program activities and events. Unique networking connections and opportunities for students in today’s global society are the program goals.
