Illinois State University’s Sibling Weekend will showcase different activities for all age groups on Friday, April 19, to Sunday, April 21.

At 7 p.m. on Friday Illinois State’s oldest student-run a cappella group will be hosting their End of the Year Show in Braden Auditorium. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults and will be sold at the door the night of the show. Visit their website for more information.

At 8 p.m. on Friday in the Brown Ballroom in the Bone Student Center, the University Program Board will host a western-themed party. The event will include an inflatable obstacle course, mechanical bull riding, dancing, nachos, face painting, carnival games, a photo booth and more.

The Gamma Phi Circus will give a matinee performance at 1 p.m. Saturday. For those who purchase tickets to the show, the Student Alumni Council will hold its second annual Carnival on the Redbird Arena concourse beginning at noon. The carnival includes a variety of games geared toward children 12 and under, face painting, photos, fun and prizes. Visit the Alumni Relations website to purchase matinee tickets.

On Saturday at 7 p.m. in the Bowling and Billiards Center there will be free bowling, bingo, balloon art, snacks and big chair photos.

Throughout the weekend Redbird baseball will be hosting Indiana State at Duffy Bass Field. All Redbird baseball games are free and open to the public. Visit GoRedbirds.com for more information on game times.

During the weekend, Campus Dining Services invites all meal plan holders to bring up to two family members to dine for free for one meal at either Watterson Dining Commons or Marketplace at Linkins. A reservation form will be emailed to all meal plan holders in early April and must be submitted no later than April 17.
