Gerry McKean has been named the interim dean of Illinois State University’s College of Business, effective July 1. McKean will fill the vacancy left by Scott Johnson, who has accepted a position with the University of Michigan-Flint.

McKean will serve as the interim dean for two years, and a national search will be conducted to fill the permanent position.

McKean currently serves as chair of Illinois State’s Department of Accounting. His primary teaching area is business information systems. He is a consultant for various area firms and regularly presents microcomputer seminars.
