The ribbon was cut May 23 in a ceremony formally naming the William T. Kemper Foundation–Commerce Bank, Trustee Team Room at the State Farm Hall of Business.

This naming publicly recognizes the commitment of the foundation for its ongoing, transformational support of the College of Business and Illinois State University.

The most recent gift provided support for technology initiatives equipping all team rooms in the State Farm Hall of Business with group work stations including a television with security hardware and a switching system that allows either the use of a lab computer in the room or the use of VGA-capable devices projected to the TV.

Team rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. They are used frequently by students throughout the year for group project meetings, meetings with faculty, and if a student can catch one for themselves, some intensive “studying alone-time.”

The College of Business appreciates the continued support of the William T. Kemper Foundation–Commerce Bank, Trustee. Private support plays a vital role in advancing the mission and reputation of the college as a nationally ranked school of business.
