Illinois State’s freshmen weren’t the only fresh faces on campus Wednesday morning.

New Illinois State University President Timothy J. Flanagan and his wife, Nancy, greeted students and their families during move-in Wednesday. The Flanagans, who just moved to town themselves, started at East Campus around 9:15 a.m. and also made stops at Watterson Towers and Tri Towers as move-in week got into full swing.

Flanagan’s first official day on the job is Thursday, but he’s been spotted around campus making introductions all this week. He started Monday with remarks at New Faculty Orientation at Bone Student Center.
