Off-Campus Services, offered through Student and Community Outreach, provides Illinois State University students with support and services to help enhance their off-campus living experience.

These services include Off-Campus 101 sessions, which help students learn more about their rights and responsibilities when moving off campus. Some of the topics include leases, security deposits, living within the Bloomington-Normal community, roommates, apartment searching, and subleasing. You can bring your lease to the Students’ Attorney for review before you sign it.

Many sessions are offered in September and are held in each residential hall area. Visit Off-Campus Services for a complete list of dates, times, and locations of the Off-Campus 101 sessions.

Can I live in Tremont Illinois while attending ISU?

  2. Megan Rolfs says:

Students who are eligible to live off-campus are not limited to living in traditional, off-campus student apartments in Normal. You could live in Tremont and attend Illinois State University. You will want to confirm with University Housing Services if you are eligible to live off campus. They can be reached at (309) 438-8611.
