The 29th Annual Printmakers’ Exhibition and Sale will be held 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, December 6, in Room 123 (Intaglio Studio) of the Center for the Visual Arts.

Hundreds of original artworks by Illinois State University students, faculty, staff, and visiting artists will be on display with most prices ranging from $2 to $50. Payment may be made by cash, check, or credit card. All of the proceeds from selected works support student participation in conferences via the Printmaking Student Travel Fund.

There will be five silent auctions with prints from artists Rudy Pozzatti, Richard Finch, James D. Butler, Morgan Price, and Sarah Smelser.

Written bids may be submitted to Richard Finch or Veda Rives before and during the sale via the following methods: by email to NormalEditionsWorkshop@IllinoisState.edu; by mail to Illinois State University, Campus Box 5620, Normal, IL 61790; or hand delivered to 129 Center for the Visual Arts or to the cashier at the event.

All bids must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. December 6. Winners of the silent auctions will be announced at 5 p.m. Winners do not need to be present to win.

Glass sale

The annual holiday glass sale is set for Saturday, December 7, at Illinois State University’s Glass House (Vitro Center).

Original blown and sculpted glass works created by Illinois State University students will be available for sale from 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Glass blowing and sculpting demonstrations will take place throughout the day.
