Lora John ’11 is getting a leg up in her career as an ambassador for the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) for the current academic year.

The biology graduate is the only ambassador chosen in New York. She serves on the national board as the liaison between APTA and students enrolled in the Doctor of Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant programs across New York.

A student herself in the doctoral program at Clarkson University, John has the honor of making APTA presentations as well as completing a physical therapy advocacy project and making a legislative visit at the state or national level.
