Brighten your night and join us for the Neon at Night 5K Fun Run at 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 2!

This event is part of Science and Technology Week and is co-sponsored by the College of Applied Science and Technology and Campus Recreation.

Participants are encouraged to wear neon colors as they run through campus at night (see the route here). Participants who register by March 18 will receive a long-sleeve neon T-shirt and a race packet. The race will begin and end at the Student Fitness Center.

The Neon at Night 5K entry fee is $15 for ISU students, and $20 for ISU faculty/staff, alumni, and community members. Beginning March 19, the entry fee will increase to $20 for ISU students, and $25 for ISU faculty/staff, alumni, and community members.

Early packet pickup will be Wednesday, April 2, from 8 a.m.–2 p.m. at the Student Fitness Center Welcome Desk. The Student Fitness Center is located at 347 South University Street, Normal. Packet pickup is also available Wednesday, April 2, from 7–7:45 p.m. outside the Student Fitness Center.

Additional information: There will be one water stop during the 5K run and refreshments available afterwards for all run participants. As a fun run, the 5K will not be timed. This run will take place rain/snow or shine. Race may be cancelled in the event of inclement or severe weather, including but not limited to lighting, freezing rain/sleet, severe storms or dangerous winds. No pets please. Sorry, no refunds. Parking is available in the South University Street Parking Garage.
