The Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology offers two workshops this week to enhance how you communicate visually. Photoshop CS6: Part 1 introduces you to the basic tools and techniques for editing still images. Camtasia: Level 1 helps you transform “ho-hum” PowerPoint presentations into dynamic online movies—complete with your own narration! Seats are still available for both courses, and the classes are open to faculty, staff, and graduate assistants.

Tuesday, February 18 • 1 to 4 p.m.

Get an overview of the digital image editing program, including a walk-through of basic tools and concepts. Learn to work with raster graphics, to use the Toolbox and other commands, and to save your work for a website or for printing. This class finishes with a lesson on how to professionally color correct an image. Technology courses are taught in a computer lab with limited seating, so registration is required. Two other classes in this series will be offered this semester.

You will also learn how to upload the final product so students can access it. Technology courses are taught in a computer lab with limited seating, so registration is required.
