Department of Mathematics hires new assistant professor

The Department of Mathematics has successfully completed its tenure-track search for a mathematics education–middle grades position.

Amanda Miller will be joining the department as an assistant professor in fall 2014.

Miller earned her Ph.D. from Illinois State University. She has a bachelor’s degree from Millikin University and a master’s degree from Illinois State. Her research interests include children’s development of area measurement concepts.
