Jason Reblando, instructional assistant professor of photography in the School of Art, has been selected for a Fulbright U.S. Scholar grant.

Reblando will be traveling in the Philippines from January to May 2015. He will be working on a photography project about families of overseas Filipino workers.

Reblando received his M.F.A. in photography from Columbia College Chicago, and a B.A. in sociology from Boston College. He is a recipient of a Follett Fellowship from Columbia College Chicago, a Community Arts Assistance Program grant from the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs, and an Artist Fellowship Award from the Illinois Arts Council.

Reblando’s work has appeared inĀ The New York Times, Bloomberg Businessweek, Camera Austria, PDNedu, the Chicago Reporter, and Catalyst-Chicago. His photographs are part of the collections in the Milwaukee Art Museum, the Midwest Photographers Project of the Museum of Contemporary Photography, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
