Not a “computer person,” or need a little extra help with a particular application? The Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology can take some of the frustration out of your workday.

Registration is now open for Summer 2014 Technology Short Courses. CTLT will offer more than 20 of these workshops, covering a variety of applications commonly used on campus, starting in early June.

Short Courses are hands-on learning experiences taught in front of the computer and lasting less than three hours. Topics range from teaching technology, such as classroom clickers or SoftChalk Lesson Builder, to popular Microsoft Office products like Word and Excel. Several courses on hiatus for the spring will return for the summer, including Select Survey, SharePoint for Committees, and Faculty Website Creation. Seating for all Short Courses is limited, so registration is required.

To browse the complete list of Summer 2014 Technology Short Courses, go to CTLT’s Short Course webpage. There you find links to register for specific events. You can also download a guide listing all of the summer Short Course sessions in PDF format.
