10 ways to use your Homecoming Yowie

It’s almost Homecoming week, and that means just about everyone will be wearing red all week at Illinois State.

This year, there will be even more red, thanks to the official Homecoming Yowie rally wear giveaway for students.

You may be asking yourself: What’s a Yowie? It looks like a big bandana, but it’s much more versatile. The Student Alumni Council has some tips for how to use one. Students can pick up their own Yowie at Homecoming Kickoff, set for 6-8 p.m. Monday, September 29, on the Quad.

And stay plugged into Homecoming all week long by downloading the new (and free) Guidebook app from your device’s app store (Apple or Android), and then search for “Illinois State Homecoming” to get the guide.
