Are you getting bored with your same old workout routine? Campus Recreation is offering up some unique new classes for the Illinois State community in October.

The  Adventure and Fitness programs have teamed up to offer Rock Spin, a new class that combines the heart-pumping action of a cycle class with the strength building involved with rock climbing. This class will be held 2:30–4 p.m. October 13 in the bouldering cave at the Student Fitness Center (SFC) and is open to all students and Student Fitness Center members. The class is free, but you must register by 11:30 p.m. October 9 online or at the Student Fitness Center. No experience is necessary.

Women’s Weight Room Circuit Training will be offered October 16 and 23, from 4–5 p.m., in the first floor weight room at the SFC. Our personal trainers will lead female participants through a whole body circuit routine, providing education about each exercise throughout the class. This new offering is free, and no registration is required. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis and will be capped at 20 participants.
